Sacrifice UDHiYA 2025

Qurbani, or Udhiya, is the ritual sacrifice of an animal during Eid al-Adha in remembrance of the obedience shown by Prophet Ibrahim when he was willing to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allaah.

Every eligible Muslim is required to offer Qurbani during the days of Eid, and the meat is distributed among the poor, allowing them to share in the celebration.

“It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him.”

How to authorise your Qurbani?

To ensure your Qurbani is valid:

Order and pay in advance – All Qurbani donations must be made before Eid.

Give your full name(s) – Used for intention and proper naming during the sacrifice.

Provide authorisation – Donors must give written or oral consent to a One World Relief representative to carry out the Qurbani on their behalf. Our team will collect this when you donate.

With its collapsing economy and growing refugee population, Lebanon is home to both local, Palestinian and Syrian families in great need.
