Greater Cairo is home to Egyptian families as well as large refugee, displaced and student communities. Rising living costs and insecure incomes can leave households struggling with food, rent, healthcare, education and everyday essentials.
OWR focuses on people facing genuine hardship, including Egyptian families, Sudanese and Palestinian refugees, people of other nationalities and students whose circumstances have changed while studying in Egypt.
