AboutUs
Our Story & Journey
Our Background & History
One World Relief was founded by a group of volunteers from diverse backgrounds who had long served with local and international NGOs and grassroots organisations.
Through years of hands-on humanitarian work, we saw how much more could be achieved when compassion, honesty, and accountability guided every decision. Out of this belief, One World Relief was born — a charity built on trust, transparency, and genuine care.
We know that many people today question how charities use donations. That’s why we are proud to be completely volunteer-led — nobody is paid to do this work. Every task, from delivering aid to managing projects, is carried out by individuals who give their time freely for the sake of humanity.
To keep costs low and maximise impact, we also work directly with local volunteers in the communities we serve. These are trusted people who know local prices, understand cultural sensitivities, and already have reliable connections. Their insight and integrity help us deliver aid quickly, fairly, and without waste.
Our UK, USA, and European volunteers live in and around the regions we support, maintaining close contact with families and local partners. This ensures genuine oversight and transparency on every project.
We constantly invite more people to join us — especially those who speak multiple languages or have lived in the communities we serve. Their understanding, empathy, and knowledge of local issues are invaluable.
At One World Relief, we recognise that small acts of goodness, done consistently, can create profound cumulative change. We are committed to doing what little we can, bit by bit, and trusting that together, it adds up to meaningful transformation.
OurMission
Our Work & Aim
Our mission is to provide vital support to communities affected by disasters, conflict, and poverty, empowering them to rebuild and thrive.
We combine immediate relief with long-term sustainable solutions, delivered through volunteers, local partnerships, and community-driven initiatives. Every action, however small, contributes to our central purpose: Rebuilding Lives, One Life at a Time.
What We Do
Thanks to our donors and volunteers, we deliver life-changing aid around the world:

✅ Winter & Seasonal Support – Distributing warm clothing, blankets, and essentials.
✅ Long-Term Sustainability – Installing clean-water projects and supporting livelihoods.
✅ Disaster Response – Acting swiftly in areas hit by natural disasters.
✅ War Relief – Supporting civilians in conflict zones with urgent humanitarian aid.
✅ Poverty Alleviation – Breaking cycles of poverty through empowerment and opportunity.
✅ Collaboration – Partnering with trusted organisations and community groups.

We don’t just provide aid — we stand with people, supporting their recovery, dignity, and hope one life at a time.
Our 100% Donation Policy
We operate a true 100% donation policy — with no clever accounting, no commissions, and no middlemen wherever possible.
Every penny donated goes directly to humanitarian projects. Administrative costs are covered separately, not from public donations.
We are committed to fighting corruption, waste, and extravagance that exist in parts of the charity sector. We treat every donation as a sacred trust, and uphold the highest ethical, cultural, and religious standards, ensuring our work is universally inclusive.
