The Importance of Sacrifice
Qurbani — or Udhiya — is the sacrifice offered during Eid al-Adha, remembering the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (), who submitted fully to Allah’s command. This sacred act allows families in hardship to share in the blessings of Eid, often receiving meat they rarely taste throughout the year.
But the spirit of sacrifice extends beyond Eid. Throughout the year — especially in Ramadan, and even during ordinary months — many families continue to face hunger and uncertainty. For this reason, we also arrange non-Eid sacrifices and meat distributions, giving donors the chance to support vulnerable households whenever the need is greatest.

How to authorise your Qurbani?
To ensure your Qurbani is valid:
Order and pay in advance – All Qurbani donations must be made before Eid.
Give your full name(s) – Used for intention and proper naming during the sacrifice.
Provide authorisation – Donors must give written or oral consent to a One World Relief representative to carry out the Qurbani on their behalf. Our team will collect this when you donate.
